CHINAZ OIL REFINERY LLC is an oil refinery with the capacity to process 870,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to the domestic market and to foreign export markets under the trade names of its shareholders.
The Operations Department is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective management of all cleaning operations, as well as process optimization. Its primary role is to reliably manage the various cleaning processes and off-site activities to ensure compliant production and shipping. Field staff in the department work three eight-hour rotating shifts.
The RM department is responsible for ensuring reliability and integrity to maximize equipment availability and utilization. Its responsibilities include reliability and inspection functions.

The PS&T department is responsible for process safety management, process engineering services, and the application of technology to support plant optimization, medium- and long-term process improvements, and capital project development.

The PD&E department is responsible for managing small capital projects at CHINAZ PETROLEUM REFINERY PLANT LLC from concept stage to final commissioning. This department also provides engineering and technical support for internal projects and maintains technical documentation for the refinery.

The HSEQ department is responsible for ensuring effective management of occupational health, safety, environmental protection, and quality to ensure the safe operation of the refinery and the safety of all refinery workers. It is involved in setting standards and overseeing compliance with company policies and government legislation on workplace hazard and emission management. It also proactively promotes awareness and understanding of established standards, industry best practices, and lessons learned to continuously improve HSEQ-related performance at the refinery.
The F&A department is responsible for the development and implementation of financial policy, providing overall support for financial and cost accounting, budgetary and management reporting, treasury management, tax planning and compliance reporting, payroll administration, corporate secretarial activities, and the management of the company’s corporate insurance program. Oil accounting and information services are also included within its responsibilities.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for developing personnel policies and procedures, workforce planning and staffing, compensation and benefits strategy, health and benefits administration, performance management, labor law compliance, promoting optimal working relationships with employees, including labor unions, training, career and organizational development, employee communications, and general office services.
The P&W department is responsible for managing all procurement and contracts, including warehousing operations, to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements and optimize costs in the delivery of goods and services.
